THE CHALLENGE

Whether you’re brand new or have been at NorthCross for years, it’s clear every week that more and more people are walking through the doors. We praise God for that! As we look to the future, we want to make sure that there is adequate space for people to grow in faith and connect in community with others.

Unfortunately, right now, our building can't keep up.

Worship services are full.

NC Kids rooms are at capacity.

NC Youth and NXT GEN small groups are running out of space.

VBS is at capacity and can’t expand.

Volunteers lack adequate gathering space.

Our staff has outgrown our current office space

These space challenges not only can make things uncomfortable for those who are in attendance, it has also made it challenging for new people to come back. Let’s build the space we need to adequately serve our community.

THE VISION

More Room to Hear God's Word

We will build a new 800-1,000 seat Worship Center while preserving the warm, personal worship environment that defines NorthCross.

More Room for the Next Generation

We will repurpose our current Worship Center to create significantly more room for NC Kids on the weekend, while also creating more space for student ministry during the week.

More Room to Belong and Connect

We will expand our atrium and create more gathering spaces where people can connect with others, build relationships, and experience a greater sense of belonging.

More Room to Extend the Reach

We will build the space and tools we need to strengthen our online ministry and to develop digital resources that help people stay connected throughout the week.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Throughout the Bible, God called upon ordinary people to do amazing things.

This moment at NorthCross is no different. The Mission Builder journey is not simply about funding a building.

It’s about stepping together into what God is already doing and making room to lead more people to Jesus.

1. Pray.
Pray for our community, our congregation, and these plans. God has called us to lead people to Jesus and we are asking him to guide us as we move forward.

2. Participate.
Continue to walk with NorthCross throughout Mission Builders. Stay connected, join us for events and opportunities along the way, and participate as you are able.

3. Give.
To complete this building expansion, our goal is to raise $14.9 million. Reaching this goal will take all of us giving gifts of all sizes. Some will give one-time gifts.
Others will make commitments over time.
