Have you ever asked God for a miracle, but it never happened? It can be hard to understand why God - who has the ability to do anything - sometimes seems unwilling to do anything. When Jesus encountered two sisters who were grieving because their miracle hadn’t come, he taught them and us why God can seem so inconsistent in the miracles he provides. God’s primary focus is not to alleviate our grief or suffering, but to elevate his glory and salvation.
